On Diwali eve, Ram Nagri Ayodhya is going to get brighten up with millions of lamps this time. The preparations for the grand organizing of the Ayodhya Festival that is celebrated on this occasion are in full swing. 12 thousand liters of mustard oil will be used to burn the lamps. This oil is being gathered from the areas of Faizabad and surrounding districts. At the same time, the 5 Lakh rupees in the work of burning the lamp were generated from Lucknow.
On the occasion of Diwali, officially the world record will be set at Ram Ghat of Saryu, by burning oil of Rs 1.71 Lakh. But, NGOs and religious institutions of Ayodhya and Faizabad will burn diyas on the new Ghat of Ayodhya. In this way, the total cost will reach Rs 2.4 Lakh. For this, preparations are going on at war level in Ayodhya. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia has been entrusted with the responsibility of lighting the lamps. In this event, students and teachers of various colleges affiliated to the university will also be included.
On the evening of October 18 at 7 pm, Vice Chancellor Prof. Manoj Dikshit will inaugurate the function by lighting up the lamps. Prof. Dixit said that 50 Grams of oil will be added to every diya. Two diyas will be installed in every lamp. The light will be thicker than usual and burn for long. Ashu Mishra of Ayodhya, Saru Bal Seva Samiti, who is looking into the arrangement, told that arrangement of about 14 thousand liters of Sesame oil is being made.
There is a comprehensive arrangement for burning of lamps on Ram’s birthplace. Vice Chancellor Prof. Manoj Dixit said that a total of two and a half volunteers have been installed in it, which will light the lamp on the evening of October 18. He said that by lighting a lamp in such a huge number together, the program will become a topic of discussion all over the world. It will also be a chance to create a world record.
